With Syfy’s phenomenal 12 Monkeys Season 3 now in our past, it’s time to look towards the network’s future… ready for Dark Matter?
Though I had my issues with the first season of Dark Matter, our pre-amnesia criminals really won me over in the show’s second season. Hey, better late than never right? Let’s be honest, it’s difficult to connect with characters that don’t remember who the hell they are. As we learned more about Portia Lin, Marcus Boone, Emily Kolburn, Kal Varrick and especially Ryo Ishida, the series became infinitely more interesting and entertaining. Sure, eliminating One/Jace Corso/Derrick Moss was an odd move, but I got past it. The Android character has never really worked for me, but Zoie Palmer definitely had some cool stuff to play in Season 2. I’m looking forward to spending more time with these characters, which wasn’t the case after the first season. How about you?
For the first time in ages, genre fans are psyched about Friday night TV again. Thank you Dark Matter, Killjoys and Wynonna Earp!
Check out Syfy’s latest show description…
