Marvel’s The Gifted Ordered to Series by FOX

While there’s no question Marvel is on fire, FOX has not exactly had much luck with its genre programming in recent years.

Legion proved to be a critical success over at sister network FX, but the overnight ratings weren’t anything to boast about. Perhaps Season 2 will fare better? Bryan Singer’s X-Men films have been touch and go, with last year’s Apocalypse entry ($155 million domestic total) being universally panned by critics and fans alike. Can Singer and Matt Nix bring something fresh to this latest Marvel show?

It goes without saying, that we at MustGeekTV hope the series is successful and finds its audience quickly. We’ve got our fingers crossed! Keep an eye out for a full trailer for The Gifted coming Monday, May 15th during the upfronts. Naturally, we will share it here as soon as FOX makes it available online.

Check out FOX’s official description below…
