The 100 Returns Tonight With Echoes

The 100 finally returns tonight with a slightly shorter season totaling 13 episodes. Do you plan to tune-in LIVE?

The series performs well for The CW, though its live ratings did drop considerably in Season 3. This year, the network’s midseason shows The 100, The Originals, and iZombie were each scaled back to 13 episodes, while Reign‘s fourth and final season consist of 16 episodes. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow was originally given a 13 episode order, but was bumped up to 17 episodes.

The 100 is loosely based on Kass Morgan’s book of the same name, and follows a group of teens who become the first people to return to Earth after a nuclear apocalypse. The show has a devoted fanbase and although I can’t count myself among them yet, I do plan to binge-watch the series on Netflix at some point. I hear it’s fantastic! Is this show MustGeekTV for you?

Here is The CW’s official episode description…

SEASON PREMIERE — Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and her friends struggle with how to proceed after the fate of the world is revealed. Paige Turco, Bob Morley, Marie Avgeropoulos, Devon Bostick, Lindsey Morgan, Christopher Larkin, Richard Harmon, Zach McGowan, Isaiah Washington and Henry Ian Cusick also star. Dean White directed the episode written by Jason Rothenberg.

The 100 airs Wednesday nights at 9/8c on The CW.
