Many fans feared that when showrunner Frank Spotnitz left, the show was doomed. Well, Season 3 has been greenlit.
Like Amazon’s other hit “Mozart in the Jungle,” after winning several awards it wouldn’t be a smart move to end the series now. Plus, from what I understand Season 2 had the best debut weekend of any Amazon original series… ever! TVLine reports that “For Season 3, Bosch executive producer Eric Overmyer will assume the top post [showrunner].”
I don’t have Amazon Prime (I’m a Netflix kinda guy), but The Man in the High Castle is a series I hope to watch at some point. Are you all caught up? Excited about the renewal news?
About The Man in the High Castle:
Based on Philip K. Dick’s award-winning novel, and executive produced by Ridley Scott (Blade Runner), and Frank Spotnitz (The X-Files), The Man in the High Castle explores what it would be like if the Allied Powers had lost WWII, and Japan and Germany ruled the United States. Starring Rufus Sewell (John Adams), Luke Kleintank (Pretty Little Liars), and Alexa Davalos (Mob City).
