DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Returns January 24

Rip Hunter is finally back! When the series returns on January 24 with “Raiders of the Lost Art,” Arthur Darvill’s character resurfaces in 1967 Los Angeles? Has Rip been hiding out in that time period? With the exciting news that a young George Lucas’ story will be told when the show returns, I’m hoping all the pieces fit together neatly. The reality is that Darvill asked to be written out, so that he could play the role of Rev. Paul Coates in the third and final season of Broadchurch.

So, the Legion of Doom locks Rip Hunter up and our heroes have to rush in and save the time master. Could be worse, right? At least he’s back.

Legend’s has been trailing behind the other DC shows in popularity, but recently had its most watched episode ever (3.33M) and its highest rated episode ever in adults 18-34 (1.0/4) with its DC Crossover Week finale. Guess those crossovers serve their purpose after all. How do you feel about the series? Miss Captain Cold as much as I do?

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow moves to a new night/time (after The Flash), Tuesday, January 24 at 9/8c on The CW.
