Mythbuster Adam Savage takes fans behind the scenes of The Expanse Season 2.
In Syfy’s official press release Savage is quoted as saying “I’m a superfan of THE EXPANSE, so I was very excited to spend time on set to see how the show is made and to talk to the people responsible for creating its immersive world: the costumes, the props, the sets, the special effects. The series’ attention to detail is just extraordinary. I can’t wait to share with viewers everything I learned.”
The first season was one hell of an intense thrill ride and don’t expect the show’s sophomore run to slow down in the least. As a matter of fact, we’re going to see much more of Mars and the Belt as the Protomolecule threatens the entire solar system.
Based on James S. A. Corey’s second book in the series, Caliban’s War, we not only catch up with the Roci’s crew but meet kickass Martian Marine Roberta ‘Bobbie’ Draper (Frankie Adams). Season 1 ended with roughly a third of Book 1, Leviathan Wakes, left to go but showrunner Naren Shankar told EW that we’ll meet Bobbie “in the first three seconds of the show.” Yesssssss!
